Chapter Fourteen
Saying goodbye is one of the hardest things that one can do. You suddenly cannot hold each other anymore.
Chapter Thirteen
Rosaleen let her mind wander as the nurse changed her bandages. When the nurse was done, Rosaleen looked at her and smiled.
“Excuse me?”
Chapter Twelve
The rain was falling on Rosaleen and Aiden as they walked in silence. They only stopped in front of a house.
Chapter Eleven
Aiden’s heart was pounding, his eyes were watery, and he did his best to stay focused while he ran out of his car and into the hospital.
Chapter Ten
Aiden and Rosaleen were walking in silence to Rosaleen’s apartment. Night was starting to set on the city and the humidity was coming back.
Chapter Nine
Charlie was sitting on Rosaleen’s bed, his face buried in his hands, crying. Rosaleen was rubbing his back.
“I am so sorry, Charlie.”
Chapter Eight
Rosaleen was lying in her bed, crying. Her mind couldn’t stop running, she couldn’t stop seeing the comments and the articles online.
Chapter Seven
Aiden and Rosaleen were sitting at a café, drinking warm beverages while staring at the rain still pouring

She didn’t know how many times she drove down that road, looking for Charlie, hoping to find him in the crowd, waiting for her.

Looking in the mirror the boy adjusted his tie and dusted off his jacket. With anxiety and his heart beating fast.

There were a lot of things that Rosaleen liked to do that made her feel at peace and bring a smile to her face.

Rosaleen got into her car; her breath coming out short from running away from him.
Chapter Two
As Rosaleen was walking down the hall to her class, she saw the boy at the end of the hall. He was looking at his phone, shaking.
Chapter One
With her hair in the wind and hands in her pockets, Rosaleen was watching the wind move the waves as if they had a will of their own.
Prologue
Life is full of highs and lows, and even though Rosaleen hates everything cliché, those are the best lessons life can give.
