Easy & Quick Cookies Recipe

Well hello! Today we are making one of the most famous snack: Cookies. Now I am sure that there are some things you didn't know about cookies, such as they can actually be healthy for you! Yes, you read that right. It's full of health benefits and it's a great snack to fill your energy tank. Now, of course it depends on what kind of cookies you make, as I said, this snack is highly popular, therefore there are multiple twists in the original recipe, and I did some myself, but I always go back to the classic chocolate chips!

I used to always screw my cookies until I gave up and only started to do them a few years ago, now the recipe just comes so easy to me that I no longer need to weight anything and do it by heart. But don't worry, I won't ask you to do that! I am not going into the full description of why cookies are healthy for you, just that it's made with natural ingredients, and eating homemade cookies is a better snack choice than other ones. The flour that you use is a huge part of the health benefit, whether you use an organic flour, or an all purpose one, every type of flour have health benefits. With the sugar in it, you give your body the right amount of calories and energy it needs and this can actually help you lose weight, filling the amount of calories that your body needs daily to avoid the hunger hormones to act up and demand more food than needed.

Ingredients: For four people

  1. 1 egg

  2. 100g of chocolate chips

  3. 1 tbsp of baking power

  4. A pinch of salt

  5. 85g of soft butter (not melted. tip: get it out of the fridge 15 minutes before starting the recipe)

  6. 85g of sugar

  7. 1 packet of vanilla sugar

  8. 150g of flour


  1. Preheat your oven at 180°c

  2. In a bowl, add the flour, then in the middle add the egg

  3. Add the sugar, the vanilla sugar and the baking powder

  4. Add the chocolate chips and the salt

  5. Mix everything together

  6. Then add the butter and squish everything in your hands until you no longer see flour

  7. Separate the dough in pieces, you do not need to have a round ball and you can make the size that you prefer (tip: do not put the balls of dough too close to each other as it will get larger while cooking)

  8. Put in the oven for ten minutes.
